During 2004, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) reported making 2,468 arrests for drug violations in Florida. From January to June 2004, there were 287 adult arrests and 23 juvenile arrests for murder in Florida. There were 657 adult arrests for murder in Florida during 2003.
